PESHAWAR: Bank of Khyber (BoK) held its 195th Board of Directors meeting on October 29, 2024, at the Bank’s Head Office in Peshawar, where members reviewed and approved the financial results for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2024. The meeting was presided over by Ikramullah Khan, Additional Chief Secretary of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors.
BoK reported a significant increase in its financial performance for the period, with profit before tax reaching Rs 6.016 billion, up from Rs 4.682 billion for the same period last year. Profit after tax stood at Rs 2.599 billion, an improvement over the Rs 2.473 billion reported in the corresponding period of 2023. Total income for the Bank also saw an upward trend, reaching Rs 13.347 billion, compared to Rs 11.146 billion in the same period last year.
The Board expressed satisfaction with the Bank’s performance and approved the financial statements for the nine months ending September 30, 2024. Board members commended the management’s efforts and urged the team to maintain its commitment to achieving the Bank’s strategic goals and objectives.
