KARACHI: Bank Alfalah has announced its integration with Google Wallet, enabling its credit and debit cardholders to make seamless and secure digital payments. Customers can now add their Bank Alfalah cards or digital credentials to Google Wallet on Android and Wear OS devices.
Google Wallet offers users a convenient and secure way to conduct transactions in stores that accept contactless payments, as well as in mobile applications and on the web. With multiple layers of security, including industry-standard tokenization, transactions are processed using a virtual card number, enhancing user protection.
In the event of a lost or stolen device, users can utilize the “Find My Device” function to lock their device, secure it with a new password, or erase personal information. These advanced security features go beyond standard card protections, reinforcing Bank Alfalah’s commitment to customer safety.
Beyond facilitating payments, Google Wallet serves as a digital hub for everyday essentials, allowing users to store and access payment cards, loyalty cards, and boarding passes. Adding digital items is a seamless process via the “Add to Google Wallet” button during purchases or through manual entry within the app. Users can also manage their data and privacy settings through intuitive controls, ensuring transparency and control over stored information.
