Muscat, Oman – In a remarkable initiative aimed at fostering community engagement and promoting financial literacy, the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) and Al Jadeed Exchange have announced the launch of a cricket tournament scheduled for January 2025. 

The announcement was made during a prestigious dinner event held in Muscat, Oman, attended by esteemed dignitaries, including: 

– Mr. Imran Ali, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Oman 

– Mr. Bobby Augustine, General Manager of Al Jadeed Exchange 

– Mr. Rashid ul Islam Siddiqui, Business Lead (UAE/OMAN/QATAR), National Bank of Pakistan 

– Mr. Ameer Hamza, Chairman of Pakistan School Oman 

The upcoming cricket tournament is designed to bring together members of the hardworking blue-collar Pakistani community in Oman, offering them a platform to connect, compete, and celebrate their shared passion for cricket. 

Beyond the sporting action, the initiative underscores the importance of using legal channels for money transfers to Pakistan. NBP has long been an advocate for financial literacy and security, and this event serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about safe and legal remittance practices.
