United Bank Limited (UBL) has introduced an AI-powered – Voice Command feature inside the UBL Digital App, enabling customers to complete everyday banking actions simply by speaking. The feature brings a new, hands-free way to bank in Pakistan.
“Speak More, Tap Less”: What Voice Command Does
With a tap on the microphone icon, users can speak a request and then confirm the details to complete the action. Customers can use voice to transfer funds, pay bills, top up mobile balance, and check account statements.
A key differentiator is dual-language support, allowing commands in English and Urdu, with on-screen confirmations shown in the same language spoken. UBL describes the experience as fast and intuitive, aiming to make digital banking more accessible.
The app flow is intentionally simple: open the app, tap the microphone, speak the command, and confirm the details before completing the transaction. UBL also highlights the importance of customer verification at the final confirmation screen.
The Voice Command capability is powered by Fortanixor Technologies, as part of its broader voice and digital interaction stack.
