Bank Alfalah and Indus Hospital Partner to Establish a Primary Healthcare Facility in Flood-Hit Sindh – Fintech News Pakistan

Bank Alfalah, a prominent commercial bank in Pakistan, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) to extend humanitarian support by establishing a Primary Care Health Facility in the flood-stricken District Thatta, at Makli.

Under the leadership of His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan bin Mubarak Al Nahayan, Chairman of Bank Alfalah, who generously donated $10 million towards flood relief efforts in Pakistan, the bank has embarked on a comprehensive strategy to rebuild communities affected by natural disasters. This collaboration with IHHN represents the second phase of the bank’s initiative, focusing on addressing long-term healthcare challenges.

Per the agreement, IHHN will oversee the establishment of the Primary Care Health Facility in District Thatta, Makli, and will present the Project Plan along with equipment specifications, infrastructure requirements, performance protocols, and qualified contractors/providers to Bank Alfalah.

In a display of solidarity with this humanitarian endeavor, Bank Alfalah has pledged PKR 25 million towards the capital expenditure for the Primary Care Site in District Thatta, at Makli. This contribution underscores the bank’s commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to supporting communities, particularly in the aftermath of natural calamities like floods.
