Registration is straightforward—users align their palm with the device sensor, scan a QR code, and link their palm to their Weixin account via their mobile phone. Once registered, transactions only require a palm scan and confirmation.

Unlike facial scans, palm recognition is unaffected by lighting conditions or physical attributes such as height. It also provides distinct advantages in differentiating individuals, including twins.
