LMKT to Continue Operating Ignite-Funded National Incubation Centers in Peshawar and Karachi
Islamabad, Pakistan – LMKT, the country’s leading technology company, proudly announces the continuation of its role as the operator of the Ignite-funded National Incubation Centers (NICs) in Peshawar and Karachi. This extension brings LMKT’s total count of operated NICs to three, the largest number managed by any private organization in Pakistan.
Through this renewed commitment with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MOITT) and Ignite, LMKT aims to further empower Pakistani entrepreneurs and elevate the nation’s dynamic startup ecosystem to unprecedented levels.
A Proven Track Record of Success
Over the past six years, LMKT’s incubation network has delivered outstanding results. The LMKT-operated NICs in Karachi, Peshawar, and Hyderabad have become pivotal elements of the national startup landscape. Collectively, these centers have incubated over 600 startups, facilitated the creation of more than 1 million jobs, and helped raise investments exceeding PKR 16 billion. These achievements cement their status as the leading incubators and accelerators in Pakistan.
Looking Ahead: A Commitment to Excellence
Building on this success, LMKT will leverage its extensive experience to drive NIC Karachi and NIC Peshawar to even greater heights. In this mission, LMKT is joined by esteemed partners such as YB Group, one of Pakistan’s largest conglomerates; Orbit Startups, a renowned international investment accelerator and Pakistan’s most active VC; as well as Accelerate Prosperity, IM|Sciences, and Sybrid, all dedicated to empowering the next generation of Pakistani entrepreneurs.
“We are excited to renew our collaboration with Ignite for the operations of NIC Karachi and NIC Peshawar,” said Atif Rais Khan, CEO of LMKT. “Our proven track record in both centers, as well as NIC Hyderabad, demonstrates our commitment to empowering Pakistani entrepreneurs. We are eager to build upon this success by fostering innovation in key sectors, providing world-class support through our partners, and helping our startups achieve global recognition.”
Strengthening Pakistan’s Innovation Landscape

We are eager to witness the emergence of more startups focusing on Industrial Automation, FinTech, Cyber Security, and women-led ventures. Together, we will further strengthen Pakistan’s innovation landscape,” said the CEO of Ignite.
Mr. Ali Sohail Tabba of Lucky Landmark, a consortium member with LMKT in NIC Karachi, added, “We believe a nation’s prosperity is inextricably linked to its capacity for innovation. As a cornerstone of this country’s economy, we recognize our duty to cultivate a thriving startup ecosystem that nurtures the next generation of entrepreneurs and propels our country into a future of unparalleled progress.”
