Islamabad, July 10, 2024— In a significant move to streamline the payment of various receipts, the Islamabad Capital Territory Police has announced a collaboration with 1LINK and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) for the implementation of the 1BILL payment system.
The ceremony, marking this milestone, was attended by prominent figures including Mr. Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Inspector General of Islamabad Police, Mr. Syed Ali Raza, Deputy Inspector General of Islamabad Police, and Sqn. Ldr. (Rtd) Abdul Haque Umrani, Assistant Inspector General of Islamabad Police. Other key attendees were Mr. Sarfraz Virk, Chief Traffic Officer of Islamabad, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Maheshwani, Deputy Director at SBP, Mr. Shahzad Akhtar, Senior Deputy Chief Manager at SBP, and Mr. Bashir Khan, Chief Operating Officer of 1LINK.
The partnership aims to enhance the efficiency and convenience of payment processes for citizens, utilizing the 1BILL platform. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce the time and effort required for various police-related payments, thereby improving overall public service delivery.
