Bank of Khyber Announces Partnership with 1LINK and Kuickpay for Streamlined Online Biller Onboarding – Fintech News Pakistan

The Bank of Khyber (BoK) has unveiled a new tripartite arrangement with 1LINK and Kuickpay, aiming to simplify the bulk onboarding process for online billers. This significant development is expected to enhance efficiency and speed in business enrolment processes.

The agreement was signed by Jawad Hassan Khan, Divisional Head of Alternate Delivery Channels at BoK; Bashir Khan, Chief Operating Officer of 1LINK; and Wajahat Farooq, Regional Business Head for the North Region at Kuickpay. The signing ceremony was attended by senior management from the participating organizations, including Asim Bashir, Group Head of Digital Banking; Shaikh Mashhood ur Rehman, CIO; Muhammad Ali Shahbaz, Divisional Head of Automation; Saqib Shahzad, Senior Project Manager; Shaharyar Zafar, Department Head of Media, Analytics, and Strategy; and Omer Afzal.

This partnership underscores BoK’s commitment to providing faster and more efficient business enrolment solutions. Traditionally, onboarding online billers to the 1LINK platform via Kuickpay involved individual participation memorandums and extensive documentation. The new initiative streamlines this process by allowing BoK to sign on behalf of approved online billers, thereby eliminating the need for repetitive Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and 1LINK compliance checks.

By simplifying these procedures, BoK, 1LINK, and Kuickpay aim to foster a more seamless and rapid integration process for online billers, reinforcing their dedication to innovation and customer service in the digital banking landscape.
