KARACHI: Meezan Bank has signed an agreement with Etihad Airways to offer exclusive travel-related discounts to its debit cardholders, further expanding the bank’s portfolio of value-added services for customers.
The signing ceremony was held at Meezan Bank’s Head Office in Karachi and attended by senior officials from both organisations. Representing Meezan Bank were Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, Group Head of Consumer Finance; Rahil Sayani, Head of Acquiring, Loyalty & Alliances; and Abid Malik, Head of Cards, Unsecured Financing & New Initiatives. Etihad Airways was represented by Ahmad Zahoor, General Manager for Pakistan.
Under the partnership, Meezan Bank Debit Cardholders will receive special discounts on flight bookings made on Etihad Airways using their debit cards. The collaboration aims to offer more affordable and convenient travel options for both leisure and business travellers.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed Ali Siddiqui reiterated Meezan Bank’s commitment to enhancing customer experience through Shariah-compliant, value-driven banking solutions. He said the partnership with Etihad Airways will provide meaningful benefits and greater convenience for customers planning their travel.
Ahmad Zahoor of Etihad Airways welcomed the collaboration, expressing the airline’s intent to strengthen its relationship with Meezan Bank and deliver enhanced, rewarding travel experiences to customers in Pakistan.
