KARACHI: BankIslami has launched a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at strengthening public understanding of Islamic banking and accelerating the transition toward a Riba-free financial system in Pakistan.
As part of the campaign, regional team leaders have begun conducting on-ground awareness and advocacy sessions with officials across the country. These engagements focus on enhancing knowledge of Shariah-compliant financial products and encouraging the adoption of ethical, interest-free alternatives.
The initiative has generated strong public interest, with participants expressing appreciation for the opportunity to learn more about Islamic banking principles and the broader economic and social benefits of a Riba-free system.
BankIslami stated that the program aligns with its long-term mission to expand Shariah-compliant financial inclusion nationwide. The Bank plans to further scale these outreach efforts as part of its vision for a more equitable and resilient financial framework in Pakistan.
