ISLAMABAD – Mobilink Bank, Pakistan’s leading digital microfinance bank, has successfully upgraded its core banking system, moving from Temenos’ R17 to the latest R23 release of the cloud-native core banking platform.
The upgrade marks a major milestone in the Bank’s digital transformation journey and reinforces its commitment to technological innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric banking. The transition was completed in collaboration with Temenos, a global leader in banking technology, and Systems Limited, a pioneer in digital transformation services.
The new system brings significant improvements in performance, scalability, and resilience, while also enabling seamless integration of advanced digital features. Customers will benefit from faster transactions, enhanced security, real-time responsiveness, and new tools such as digital onboarding and personal finance management.
