KARACHI – July 17, 2025 — United Bank Limited (UBL) has announced a significant move to enhance customer convenience by keeping selected branches open on Sundays as well.
In a post shared across its official social media channels, UBL stated that these branches will now operate from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every Sunday, offering six hours of uninterrupted banking services.
“Banking services available for you every day of the week,” the bank announced, emphasizing its commitment to serving customers throughout the week.
While many banks across Pakistan already keep select branches operational on Saturdays, UBL is the first major bank to extend its public-facing operations to Sundays — a move likely to be welcomed by both individuals and businesses needing weekend access to banking.
